Jake finally spent some of his vacation money from Nanny today. After much deliberation, Jake decided on an Angry Birds pig hat which you can check out here:
As a result of said pig hat, Jake couldn’t see to walk down the sidewalk and Alli had to escort him (such a nice sister!):
Later in the day, Holly joined us for some time on the water. Alli took to the paddleboard and we kayaked along with her to the beach on the ocean side – a great time and no one fell in the water!
Alli’s had a lot of fun dancing out on our floating stage… otherwise known as a boat dock.
Here are a few shots I took after she was freshly cleaned and coconut-scrubbed after a few hours at the beach.

Aren’t the boys so sweet when they are asleep?! Alli reluctantly gave up her throne at Aunt Sarah & Uncle Jason’s house so that the boys could have a turn staying over. If you look closely you can make out Jake on the right – I promise we didn’t lose him!

But we’re very excited to find out! Alli has been enjoying trips to Yogurtland and one day, this hello kitty sticker showed up on the front door. We’re placing bets on flavors, accessories, etc.

A rare shot of Ty with his uncle jason! We didn’t stay at spitting cave for long since it was giving Holly heart failure watching the kids lean over the cliffs into the rocks and ocean 40 feet below.

After a hard day at the water park, everyone was hungry for sushi. Ty had eel, Jake a bento box, and Alli tempura and udon. We’re stuffed, but Jake is urging us all to leave room for ice cream… Shocking for those of you who know him, I’m sure!

We had worked up quite an appetite! Alli was psyched for her strawberry pancakes (a girl after my own heart). Good thing we paddled all the way out into the ocean, Alli on the paddleboard and me and uncle jason in the kayak.
Today Alli woke up to French toast, courtesy of Chef/Uncle Jason. This fueled her excursions for the rest of the day with Aunt Sarah, including paddleboarding, a trip to the hair salon for faux colored hair and feathers, and a hike out to spitting cave. Phew.
We’re tired! But not too tired for cupcakes!

Alli & Aunt Sarah grabbed some girl time and lunched oceanside. Alli enjoyed the scenery, the pasta, but most of all, the dolphins!

On the trail back from the lagoon at Pele’s chair. Holly took real pictures so hopefully she will post those later!

Alli devised a game using hot suace containers to help us kill time while waiting for dinner to be ready.

The Margaritaville machine has found its place in Kailua, after stops in OBX, Tampa, and San Francisco. It has been transported by planes, cars, and cargo ship!

The kids can’t get enough of the water, so back to the beach we go.
